Undergraduate Software Engineer

Spectra QEST believes in developing young Engineers and assisting them to enter the workforce smoothly and well prepared. We regularly help high quality Engineering students in two different ways: By supervising and sponsoring their final year projects, and by employing them during their holidays to help them fulfil their Degree's work experience requirements and obtain some real-world taste of what life as a Software Engineer is like.

We have established a final year project program with the University of Adelaide for students enrolled in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. This program applies to final year students working towards a B.E.(Elec.), a B.E.(I.T.&T.) or B.E.(Comp.Sys.). If you are enrolled in one of these programs, and you have the desire to practise Software Engineering using VB, .net and other development tools, then you will need to contact us during your third year as you may want to also apply for some approved work experience during the summer break, before you start fourth year.

Alternatively, if you are a student studying IT at University level and have excellent grades and a desire to practise hands on programming in real, leading applications, send us your CV and a copy of a current academic transcript.
